Privacy policy
Last updated November 6, 2026. This policy covers the VolcanoNow iOS app and this website, operated by Bababoi Lab.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, used to sign you in.
- Alert subscriptions: the email address or mobile number you enter for alerts, and the days you picked.
- Push notifications: if you turn on push alerts, your device's push token is stored so we can send you volcano updates through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Posts: photos and notes you choose to post publicly from viewing spots.
How we use it
Only to run the app, sign you in and send the volcano alerts you asked for (push, text and automated voice calls). We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase to host the app's data and Twilio to deliver text messages and alert calls. They process data only to provide these services.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to stop text and call alerts. You can cancel any alert in the app under Alerts, and delete your account and all of its data in the app under Account.
